The film "Prometheus" directed by Ridley Scott tells the story of a group of scientists who are looking for an answer to the question of the origin of life on Earth. The search throws them into a distant corner of the universe, where they will have to fight for the salvation of humanity. The audience perceived the picture ambiguously.

A more organized and educated audience took notice of the Prometheus myth underlying the plot. At the very beginning of the film, the alien sacrifices himself to give birth to life on Earth and destroy the invaders. Some of the viewers did not understand what this scene symbolized and why it was needed at all.

The motion picture is announced as a prequel to the Alien saga. Because of this, viewers compare Prometheus directly with Aliens, and comparisons often negatively characterize the prehistory. Shot in 3d format, the film is mesmerizing with special effects. However, this does not cover some of the plot's flaws.

There is also public dissatisfaction with the open ending. Obviously, the backstory of "Aliens" will be outlined in several films. Thus, the movie "Prometheus" asked more questions than it gave answers about the emergence of the Alien race. Also, the audience was a little surprised by the incoherence and indiscipline of the team of heroes. When scientists arrive on an alien planet, they calmly breathe air, guided only by the fact that the atmosphere is similar to that of the earth. Nowhere is it indicated how many microbes, spores, microorganisms live in this or that part of the planet. Therefore, when one of the crew members becomes infected, the question "how did this happen?" causes an involuntary grin.

A scientist named Shaw becomes pregnant during the course of the story. The rapid development of the fetus suggests that the fetus is also an alien. To get rid of the foreign creature, Shaw tells modern equipment that she is a man, and there is a foreign object in her abdominal cavity, brought in as a result of a penetrating wound. This moment is often discussed on the forums, as are the actions of the heroine herself, who literally in a few minutes begins to actively fight with the representatives of the Creators. The stitches after the operation to remove the alien from the womb of a woman should be tightened for at least another month. Not a word has been said about the heroine's ability to instantly regenerate.

In general, as in the case of the fourth part of "The Terminator", the audience was divided into fans who appreciated the film and those who did not understand it.
