Films with the participation of actors from the Soviet Baltic states are often shown on TV screens. However, not much is known about the fate of those employed in the film. This happened with Lina Braknite, whose fate began in the distant seventies.
Lina Braknite, who played the role of Suok in the movie Three Fat Men, was called a girl with cornflower blue eyes. Although she never became an actress, she won the hearts of millions of boys, playing only a few roles in childhood.
First debut
The first time eleven-year-old Lina appeared on the screen in the film "The Girl and the Echo". A little later, she got the role of Suok in the movie tale about three fat men. However, after the age of seventeen, the young actress stopped acting.
Linino's childhood was spent in Vilnius. Parents had nothing to do with cinema. He himself came to Braknita. Where the girl studied. She didn't even dream about filming. An assistant director came to school in search of an actress for the main role in the film based on the story of Yuri Nagibin "The Girl and the Echo".
Big-eyed, small, slender and very expressive girl just shocked the entire film crew. Very soon, Bracnite was approved. The schoolgirl played without difficulty, sometimes rebuilding the script for herself. If according to the book, because of the betrayal, Vika remained broken, then according to the film she left undefeated.
The tape was seen by over six million viewers. This is a lot for a film from the "childrens" category. The work was mentioned in film ecyclopedias, it was literally bombarded with various praises at festivals.
Doll of the heir to Tutti
After a successful film debut, no more than two years passed when Lina was invited to work in another film. So, filmed only in films for young viewers, Braknite got a role that made the girl a celebrity in a single moment.
The film "Three Fat Men" burst into her fate, in which the little actress got the role of Suok. Later, adults remembered with pleasure about filming with a girl.
They said that it was easy to work with her, the hardworking actress was attentive to all comments. The voice acting turned out to be a difficult moment.

The talented work of the young actress was recognized as the best female role. The performer was awarded the corresponding award in 1967 at the republican festival. After completing her studies, Braknite worked for more than two decades in the department of rarities of the library at the Institute of History. She rarely mentions films. Lina tries not to communicate with journalists. And the woman says little about life on the set, even in such rare meetings with media representatives.
Happiness in real life
Braknite's personal life was very successful. She lives with her family in Vilnius. The girl's chosen one was Raimondas Paknis, a popular book publisher and photographer in Lithuania. Lina recalls with pleasure, smiling tenderly, that the future spouse had many rivals. Many claimed the heart of a charming girl, but it was Raimondas who managed to bypass everyone.
They have been together for almost four decades. Since childhood, Braknite loved hiking. Therefore, she tried to recreate the familiar atmosphere after marriage. We traveled with the whole family. At first, only together with her husband. Then the three of us, when the child appeared, the daughter of Vika.
She managed to finish her studies abroad, and get married, and give her grandson to her parents. With him, grandparents in a country house spend the whole summer. Lina is amazed at recognition by her fans because of the role she once played in her distant childhood.
The woman remains in great shape. She has expensive creams for her care. She is not going to follow any diets. Only after Christmas does Lina arrange a few fasting days for herself.
The matured Suok is sure: she got her youthfulness from her mother. She even approached the ninetieth birthday, being on her deathbed, retained her attractiveness. Lina has no regrets at all that she failed to become an actress. At that time, due to her small stature and thinness, the girl was very embarrassed.
