Samuel Labarthe is a Franco-Swiss actor in theater, film and television. The audience knows him as a member of the Comedie Francaise. Also Labarte can be seen in the films "Woman and Men", "Two Days to Kill" and in the TV series "The Mysterious Murders of Agatha Christie."
Biography and personal life
Samuel Labarthe was born on May 16, 1962 in Geneva. He was educated at high school in Geneva, where he began to participate in productions. Then he studied acting courses. In 1982, Labarte went to Paris to enter the National Conservatory of Dramatic Art.
In 1992, his wedding took place with the Russian actress Elena Safonova. It was her third marriage. After 5 years, they divorced. Samuel and Elena have a son, Alexander, who also became an actor. Labarte's second wife is actress Helene Medig. The couple had twins, Jeanne and Louise, and then a third daughter, Matilda.

Labarte's film career began in 1988 with the comedy "The Nail Eater" with Pierre Richard and Charles Aznavour. Then he played Michel in the comedy drama Taxi Driver. His partners on the set were Louis Vel, Sophie De La Rochefoucauld, Michel Modo and Micheline Dax. The next notable role of Labarte took place in the 1992 military musical melodrama "The Accompanist". The film also stars Romana Bohringer, Richard Borinje and the actor's wife Elena Safonova.

In 1996 he got the main role in the drama "Comet". Labarte plays Dr. Frederick, who adopts a blind girl who was abandoned by her mother.
