Also, the so-called maternity capital is allocated for every second and subsequent child. But not everyone is aware that there is another payment in Russia, regional or governor's. You can get it as follows.
It is necessary
- - application in the form of the department of social protection;
- - a copy of the child's birth certificate;
- - a copy of the passport with the registration page at the place of residence;
- - account number with Sberbank.

Step 1
The governor's payment is another lump sum for the birth of a child, popularly nicknamed for the fact that in each region of Russia its amount is different. The conditions for issuing such payments are also somewhat different. There are regions in Russia that do not pay the governor's allowance at all.
Step 2
To find out whether the governor's payment is issued in your region at the birth of a child, on what conditions, what amount it will be, you should visit the social protection department of the district where the parents of the newborn are registered and get answers to your questions.
Step 3
As mentioned above, the conditions for the payment of governor's benefits are different in different regions of Russia. Somewhere they are paid for each child born, somewhere only for the second and subsequent ones, somewhere for the third and subsequent ones. If you are entitled to the payment, you will need to bring the full package of documents for the payment of the governor's allowance to the Social Welfare Department.
Step 4
The regional payment package includes a statement from the mother (or father, if he is the child's sole guardian) to the boss who runs the social welfare department you are contacting. In the application, you must indicate the method of receiving the payment that suits you - in cash, on a card or in a personal savings account with Sberbank.
Step 5
Also attach to the package of documents a copy of the child's birth certificate, a copy of your passport, a copy of the page where the registration is indicated. If you indicated in your application that you would like to receive benefits in non-cash form, please attach a copy of your bank account number.
Step 6
After submitting a package of documents to the department of social protection of the population, your application will be considered within 10 days. After this period, you will be added to the database of recipients of regional support. Or, you will receive a written notice in the mail that the payment was denied, stating the reasons why you are not entitled to benefits.
