Miles Alexander Teller was born in 1987, February 20. His father, Mike, worked as an engineer, and his mother, named Mary, worked as a real estate agent. Miles is the third child in the family and has two older sisters. A boy was born in Pennsylvania, in a place called Downingtown. However, he lived in this city for a very short time. All of Miles's childhood and teenage years were spent on the move, the family did not stay long anywhere because of his father's work. Therefore, the boy managed to live in both New Jersey and Florida.

Miles was interested in creativity from childhood, he was especially attracted, oddly enough, music. When the boy started his secondary education at school, he also began attending a music studio. As a teenager, Miles had already mastered playing instruments such as drums, saxophone and piano. At that time, the teenager dreamed of a career in the music scene. A similar desire resulted in the fact that Miles formed a musical group, which was called The Mutes. The band included Teller's friends who were also passionate about music. Unfortunately, however, this rock band has not achieved major success. Therefore, at some point, Miles decided that he needed to choose a different creative path in life.

In high school, Miles enrolled in a theater club. And gradually, the performing arts fascinated him very much, and teachers began to note Teller's natural talent. Miles began to take an active part in amateur productions, spending all his free time honing his acting skills. At some point, the enthusiastic and talented boy was even elected president of the theater studio.

Besides music and acting, Miles had another passion in his life - sports. He played baseball with enthusiasm and was thinking about connecting his life with sports if nothing worked out with an actor's career.

Miles started working as a teenager. He got a job as a waiter in one of the restaurants, but he successfully combined both a part-time job and his hobbies.

After completing his secondary education, Miles Teller easily entered the university, which was located in New York. There he studied theatrical direction and graduated from a higher educational institution with a bachelor's degree in arts. After that, the young man decided to come to grips with the development of his acting career. However, his start was rather slow, and Miles played his first roles in short films.

For the first time in front of cameras, Teller appeared on the set of a low-budget short film called "Moonlighters". This tape was released in 2004. After the filmography of the aspiring actor, two more works in short films were replenished, which did not receive much fame. They were released in 2007 and 2008.

Miles got on television when work began on the TV series "Unusual Detective." There Teller played one of the roles, and the series itself started on screens in 2009. A year later, Miles starred in a feature-length film for the first time, Rabbit Hole.

An interesting fact from the biography of the actor: Miles has starred in only one mentioned television series during his entire career. All his other projects were exclusively full-length films.

In the period from 2011 to 2014, the filmography of the young actor was replenished with a number of projects, among which were such films as "Free" (2011), "21 and More" (2013), "Obsession" (2014).

The film was released in 2014, and the same year the young actor was nominated for a Sputnik award for his role in Obsession. A year earlier, Miles had won the Jury Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. The role in the melodrama "Fascinating Time" brought him the victory.

In 2015, the second part of the film "Divergent" went at the box office, in which Teller returned to his role. In 2013, Miles began a romantic relationship with a girl named Keli Sperry, who is a fashion model. To date, the couple is still together, they got engaged in 2017, but they are not yet official husband and wife. Miles has no children at the moment.
