For the people's artist Viktor Proskurin, there are no big and small roles: in each he gives all the best. This is his life credo.
Family and childhood
Viktor Alekseevich Proskurin is a native Muscovite, although he was born on February 8, 1952 in distant Kazakhstan, where his parents were on a business trip. His father, a simple working excavator, was a man of a harsh disposition and an explosive character and, as it turned out, passed on these traits to his son. Mom was a railroad worker. The family lived on the outskirts of Moscow in the Taganka area in barracks.
Since childhood, Vitya was a difficult child and, if he had not come to his senses in time, it is not known where fate would have brought him along with his hooligan friends. And along with this I read Yesenin and participated in the work of the school literary circle. He dreamed of becoming a clown and even made an attempt to enter a theater and circus school, but did not fit in age. When asked later whether it was true that he wanted to make people laugh, he replied: "I always wanted to be different, like Nikulin."
Then he began to run at the rehearsals of the theater studio of the House of Pioneers and the House of Culture "Salute", where he was noticed by the assistant director, who was looking for boys for the film "Chapaya Eagles". Thus began his acting career.
Returning from the filming of the film, Victor realized that he had matured a lot compared to his classmates. After all, there, in the Crimea, there were great actors next to him, for whom he was not a boy, but a partner.
Proskurin leaves regular school for evening school and gets a job. Parents trusted their son and did not contradict his choice, only they were very frightened by the large salary he brought home at that time. We decided that the guy again contacted his childhood friends. And he just worked well.
Study
The dream of entering a theater university did not leave the young man, and after graduating from school he applied to three educational institutions at once - the Moscow Art Theater School, GITIS and the Shchukin School. But none of them took him. A stubborn young man a year later again storms the famous "Pike" and achieves success, however, only in an additional set. For those 64 mistakes that Victor made in the composition, the title “Symbol of dense ignorance” was fixed for him for a long time. But most importantly, he studied at the acting department, in the workshop of T. Kopteva, and in his free time he worked part-time unloading wagons.
In his final year, he is invited to shoot the film "Big Break". Of course, if the university authorities had found out about this, he would not have been well, but, fortunately, the film was released after graduation.
Career
The role of Genka Lyapishev immediately brought fame to Viktor Proskurin, and the strong cast of the film taught a lot in practice. Throughout his creative life, the artist was in demand by directors. In total, his filmography includes about 130 film and television shootings.
But at first it did not work out with the theater. Thanks to the distribution, the actor enters the Taganka Theater and for three months does not receive a single role, even in extras.
Mark Zakharov calls him to Lenkom. Proskurin, although not immediately, agrees. On the stage of this theater for 10 years of service, many talented images have been created that will be remembered by the viewer.
After Lenkom, the artist has been serving at the Maria Ermolova Academic Theater for almost 25 years and leaves it in the 12th year at the behest of the new artistic director.
As he dreamed in childhood, the brilliant artist played a great many diverse roles, choosing them only at the behest of his heart. And none of them were forgotten.
Bad character
The actor does not hide, and colleagues in the shop confirm that the character of Proskurin is not very easy to get along with. He never compromises, or goes "with a creak", which sometimes strongly interferes with work. He selects roles scrupulously, always makes corrections and notes in them. This is probably why he rarely acts twice with the same director.
Only Eldar Ryazanov allowed the artist to "flirt" in "Cruel Romance". The image of Vozhevatov is considered one of the best works of Proskurin.
Personal life
The actor honestly married five times and, again, honestly left his wives when a new feeling appeared.
Victor Proskurin was married to classmate Olga Gavrilyuk, to actress Tatyana Derbeneva, assistant director Svetlana Kolganova, just Irina. His last chosen one is Irina Honda.
There is a child - Alexander's daughter from his first marriage, a granddaughter and a grandson. Relations with all ex-wives remained excellent, and in a conversation with my daughter, external thorns disappear somewhere and a soft and tender soul opens up.
Having experienced a colossal nervous shock after leaving the last theater, coping with alcoholism on this basis, oncology that caused anorexia and recovering from a terrible accident, the artist continued to do what he loved.
