In July 2014, a decision was signed to change the clock to winter time. This procedure will be carried out in Russia for the last time.
Instructions
Step 1
In accordance with the law on winter time adopted by the State Duma, 11 time zones are formed in the country. Before that, there were 9. There will be a third zone, which will include the Samara and Udmurt regions. In these regions, the time will be one hour ahead of Moscow time. Kemerovo region will be included in the 6th time zone. Here the hands of the clock will not be translated, the time difference with Moscow will be 4 hours. Kamchatka Territory and Chukotka Autonomous Region will belong to the 11 o'clock region. Residents of this zone will live with Moscow with a difference of 9 hours, now the difference is 8 hours.
Step 2
For the rest of the regions of Russia, the switching of the arrows will take place on the night of October 26. Exactly at 02:00 Moscow time, the hands will move back 1 hour. There will be no return to daylight saving time in the spring of 2015. Russians will live in winter time all year round.
Step 3
The changeover to winter and summer time was last canceled in 2011, in the spring, after the hands were switched to summer time.
Step 4
The main reasoning for changing the time has been economic expediency since ancient times. Many decades ago, this fact was significant. Today, when electricity is necessary for the life of mankind for 24 hours, this is not worth talking about.
Step 5
Some analysts believe that switching the hands to winter time can affect a person's ability to work. Some of them believe that the accident rate on the roads and at enterprises will decrease. Scientists also talk about the dangers of this procedure. For some, an extra hour for sleep will be good news, for others, the translation of the hands, an extra drop of stress. By translating the arrows on October 26, 2014, we will understand who is right.
