Shamil Khamatov is a Russian theater and film actor. He became famous for his role in the film "The Bride". Shamil is the younger brother of the famous actress Chulpan Khamatova. Largely thanks to her, he connected his life with theater and cinema.
Biography: early years
Shamil Nailievich Khamatov was born on January 29, 1985 in Kazan. His parents were simple Soviet engineers, far from the world of theater and cinema. Shamil has a sister, Chulpan, who is ten years older. It was she who was an example for him in many ways. When Shamil went to first grade, Chulpan went to conquer Moscow. Five years later, she starred in Todorovsky's film "Country of the Deaf", which made her famous. The success of his sister impressed Shamil, since then he began to dream of acting education.
After school, he also went to Moscow, where he became a student at the Russian Academy of Theater Arts. There, she once learned the basics of acting and Chulpan. During his studies, Shamil began to participate in productions of the youth theater at the Academy (RAMT). Khamatov was involved in several productions, including Lord of the Flies and The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. He still plays in the performances of the RAMT.
Career
In 2005, Shamil became an actor of Sovremennik. He made his debut in The Naked Pioneer, where he got the role of Sevka Goryaev. On the stage of Sovremennik Khamatov can be seen in such performances as Three Sisters, Five Evenings, Mysterious Night Murder of a Dog, Sharmanka.
In parallel, Shamil plays in films and TV shows. For the first time on the screen, he appeared in 2004, starring in the film "Team". This was followed by roles mainly in the series, including "Ambulance 2", "And yet I love", "Zastava Zhilina".
In 2009, Shamil starred in the full-length film "Pickup: Shoot Without Rules". Five years later, he was cast in the film "Startup" and got one of the main roles. The painting was shown on a large screen.
The series "Behappi" is one of Khamatov's extreme television projects. In it, he played the main role. The popular actor Alexander Pal became his partner in the series.
Personal life
Shamil Khamatov is married. The marriage with the photographer Ksenia Naumova was his second. His wife is ten years younger than Shamil. The couple got married in 2018. The marriage was secret.
