The composer-songwriter Alexander Morozov is well known to people of the older generation. His songs were very popular on the Soviet stage. Alexander Morozov pleases listeners with his golden hits "In the Land of Magnolias", "Raspberry Ringing", "My Blue-winged Dove", "And the River Runs Over the Pebbles", "It's Light in My Room" and others. He himself performs them at his retro concerts. The composer was awarded the honorary titles of People's Artist of the Russian Federation, Ukraine and Moldova.
Biography
Alexander Sergeevich Morozov was born on March 20, 1948 in Moldova. His family lived in a small village near the Ocnita railway station.
As a little boy, Alexander liked to watch trains pass by his house. He dreamed of going to the sea when he saw the passengers of the Moscow - Odessa train going to the Black Sea coast. But this dream was unrealizable, because little Sasha was raised by one mother and they lived very modestly. The father left the family when the boy was two years old.
From his mother, Maria Filippovna, his musical abilities were passed on to Alexander. His mother sang well and performed in amateur performances.
From childhood, Sasha knew how to play the harmonica. And having picked up a button accordion, he could easily pick up music by ear. To develop her son's musical talent, Alexander's mother decided to send him to a boarding school. From the first to the seventh grade, the boy studied at a boarding school in the city of Chisinau.
Music accompanied Alexander all his life. In the boarding school, he enjoyed studying in the orchestra of folk instruments. Having entered the Leningrad College of Physical Education and Sports, Alexander became the head of the vocal and instrumental ensemble.
Then he studied at the Leningrad Pedagogical Institute, where the young man participated in amateur performances. After graduating from the institute, Alexander Morozov was drafted into the army. He served in the Baltic Fleet, but continued to compose music for the Volna sailor ensemble.
In 1975, Morozov entered the Leningrad State Conservatory named after N. A. Rimsky-Korsakov, already a famous composer. Frequent tours and a tight concert schedule prevented the artist from completing his studies at the conservatory.
An important role in the work of Alexander Morozov was played by his teachers Valery Gavrilin and Vasily Soloviev-Sedoy. They helped the young composer to form his own musical style.
In 1983, Alexander Morozov was awarded the Lenin Komsomol Prize for songs about youth and the Komsomol.
In 1984 he created the Forum group, the soloist of which was Viktor Saltykov. It was one of the first bands to use computer technology in their music. The songs performed by this group "White Night", "Island", "Leaves Flew Away" became hits of the Soviet stage.
In connection with the collapse of the group in 1987, Alexander Morozov left to live in Ukraine. There he lived for five years, fruitfully engaged in creativity. At this time, the composer wrote about a hundred songs. Its co-authors were Ukrainian poets and performers.
During the period of perestroika and the collapse of the USSR, Alexander Sergeevich lived in Cyprus for several years. In 1992 he returned to his homeland and opened his own recording studio "Moroz - Records" in Moscow.
In 2001, for his active contribution to Russian culture, the composer received an award - the Order of Nicholas the Wonderworker "For the enhancement of good on Earth."
Since 2002, Alexander Morozov has become a singer-performer of his songs.
In 2004 and 2006, Morozov was twice awarded the Order of Peter the Great for strengthening the Russian state.
In 2012, the Russian Authors' Society and the Russian Union of Copyright Holders awarded the composer with a diploma "For Contribution to Russian Culture."
Currently, Alexander Morozov and his wife Marina Parusnikova live in a country house in the Moscow region in the cottage village of Valuevo. It is located 10 km from Moscow. The artist has always dreamed of living in his own house. Various trees grow around the cottage, and he decorated the interior of the plot with a fountain and a decorative well. In the house he has his own recording studio, a chamber concert hall, a swimming pool.
Creation
The composer wrote his first song "The herbs smell like mint" in 1968. She immediately became a Laureate of the Song of the Year television song contest. It was at this time that Alexander decided to become a composer-songwriter.
Then the song "Inconspicuous Beauty" was written, which was performed by the "Singing Guitars" ensemble. The next hit by Alexander Morozov to the poems by Mikhail Ryabinin "In the meantime, while the river runs over the pebbles" has become really popular. At the Song-78 festival it was performed by Lyudmila Senchina and the Great Children's Choir of Central Television and All-Union Radio.
The composer treats the texts of his works very carefully. When he first read the poems of the poet Nikolai Rubtsov, he heard music in them. In the fate of the poet, Alexander found a lot in common with his biography. Both of them were village boys and were brought up in a boarding school, both served in the navy, loved the village and the common people, felt nature deeply. Morozov wrote a cycle of songs and romances "It is light in my room", which was published for the anniversary of Nikolai Rubtsov.
The song "In my room is light", which was performed by Marina Kapuro, is considered by many to be a folk song. The songs of Alexander Morozov "Dawn of scarlet", "The loon flew", "Crimson ringing", "Soul hurts" are also more like folk songs than author's.
In 2003 Alexander Morozov created the Samorodok song theater. His wife and producer Marina Parusnikova helped him to open the theater. Variety and opera singers - Nikolai Baskov, Pelageya, Marina Kapuro, Andrei Valentiy, Andrei Saveliev, Alexei Safiullin - began their creative career in the "Samorodka" collective.
In 2014, the composer recorded the album On the Road to the Holy Abode, in which all songs are united by the theme of spirituality. At the creative evening of Alexander Morozov, which took place in the Hall of Church Cathedrals of the Cathedral of Christ the Savior, the audience heard these songs.
The composer has more than a thousand songs on his account. All of them are filled with melody and warmth. His songs were included in their repertoire by Joseph Kobzon, Alla Pugacheva, Sofia Rotaru, Valery Leontyev, Edita Piekha, Mikhail Shufutinsky and other famous singers.
Personal life
The composer has been married four times.
The first time Alexander got married at the age of 19, when he was a student at the Leningrad Sports College. The young man played in the ensemble of the technical school at dances. There he met a pretty girl. She was the daughter of the director of the technical school, but she did not tell the guy about it. Once the director invited Alexander to his home under the pretext of tuning the piano. A student who grew up in a boarding school found himself in a home environment, where he was surrounded by attention and care. The temptation was great, and Alexander remained in this house. However, family life did not bring him happiness, his wife did not understand the creative nature of her husband. The marriage lasted six years and broke up in 1972.
Alexander's second wife Natalia was an actress. They met on tour in Estonia. They returned home by train and talked all night. They found many common interests, besides, Natalya knew the work of the composer well. After a while they met, and Alexander realized that he wanted to be with this woman. They got married, but the artist was rarely at home, as the popularity of the "Forum" group, which he directed, was rapidly growing, and there was little time for the family.
Numerous tours and parties after concerts took most of the life of Alexander Morozov. Young female fans did not give a pass to the musicians of the "Forum". On tour in Ukraine, Morozov met a 17-year-old fan Tatiana. The girl conquered Alexander's heart with her youth and spontaneity.
The musician got a divorce from his wife Natalia and married Tatiana. The Forum group had ceased to exist by this time, and Morozov remained to live with his young wife on a small Ukrainian farm. Then they moved to Moscow.
In the 90s of the last century, after the collapse of the USSR, Alexander Morozov and his family left for Cyprus. He bought a villa on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. But the homesickness affected the composer's work. In a foreign country, he did not write a single song. Alexander left all the real estate to his wife and returned to Moscow.
Alexander met his last wife Marina Parusnikova on television. Marina worked in the "Trump Lady" program. She invited Alexander to the program, where he sang the song "Zorka scarlet" with a guitar. A mutual feeling arose between them, but both had families. Alexander and Marina decided to leave. Many years later, they met again and realized that they could not live without each other.
In 2004, Alexander and Marina got married. From previous marriages, Alexander has three adult children - two sons and a daughter, Marina has a son and a daughter. The children have accepted their union and maintain good relations with their parents.
Marina became not only Alexander's wife, but also a producer. The creative union with Marina Parusnikova inspires the composer to work on new projects.
