Timati, aka Timur Yunusov, was born on August 15, 1983 in Moscow. Dad Ildar Yunusov is a big businessman, mom is Simona Yakovlevna. The artist's nationality has Tatar and Jewish roots. The singer's parents have a huge fortune, but they did not spoil their son. From childhood, the father instilled in his son the idea that everyone should achieve everything on his own, without the help of his parents. The family has another son, Artem, three and a half years younger than Timur. Since childhood, the singer was distinguished by independence and showed musical abilities.

A gifted boy attended lessons at a music school, because his mother and grandfather are also musicians. Mom plays the guitar, grandfather is a choir. For about four years, Timur learned to play the violin, but then these lessons he no longer liked. As a child, he sang very beautifully and had perfect hearing, however, his voice broke and after a trip to Jamaica, the singer began to get involved in hip-hop culture.
Upon his return from Jamaica, the singer and his friends organized their own project called VIP77, however, things did not go beyond amateur rehearsals, and the project fell apart.

Then Timur became interested in tattoos, his body is completely covered with them. Then the "Gang" broke up, and the singer organized his own production center "Black Star Inc." and began to try myself in new areas.
At the age of 13, Timur went to Los Angeles to study, but nothing worthwhile came of it.
Timati was engaged in modeling business - he worked as a model and tried himself as a fashion designer, was a club promoter and produced young hip-hop performers, showed acting skills.
In 2006 he released his first album entitled "Black Star". And also a collection of clothes "Black Star by TIMATI" for youth in the style of hip-hop and R&B was published. Timati participates in the development of phone design.
