The beginning of a sports career

Martina received her first racket for her second birthday. Then the baby became interested in skiing, but tennis won.
Five-year-old Khingis took an active part in children's competitions. Soon the girl's parents broke up.
The mother married again the Swiss programmer Andres Tsogg. The newly formed family moved to a small town in northern Switzerland, Trubach.
It was in this country that Martina's rapid ascent to sports heights began. For several years in the eighties, the girl won the largest national tournaments.
Twice the young tennis player managed to win the title of European champion.
Rapid start
In 1993, the girl's first Grand Slam competition took place. Immediately, the talented debutanne managed to win them at the junior level in France.

Throughout the season, Martina took part in sixteen competitions held under the auspices of the Women's Tennis Association. She managed to attend the Atlanta Olympics defending Switzerland.
The girl achieved success not only in a doubles game, but also in a single game. During the US Open, she lost only the final. She was defeated by Steffi Graf, then the first racket in the world.

This was followed by serious injuries. As a result, Martina had to regain her shape.
During the fights, the girl began to have convulsions. Because of this, the final match of the US Open and the title of the first world racket had to be given to rivals.
Lindsay Davenport entered the top of the podium again. However, after injuries Khingis recovered quickly enough. The main rival was again defeated in the final annual meeting.
Until 2007 Martina remained the unchanged winner of prestigious tournaments and the owner of the most flattering titles. The doping scandal in 2016 led to the end of his career. For a long time, unpleasant proceedings in court did not subside.
