For many years, the best songs of the Eurovision Song Contest have been chosen by a professional jury. But recently, viewers can also vote for their favorite composition.
Instructions
Step 1
Since 2007, the Eurovision Song Contest has been held for 3 days in one of the weeks of May: 1 semi-final on Tuesday, 2 semi-final on Thursday and final on Saturday. The semi-finals are attended by the countries of the European Broadcasting Union, with the exception of the winning country of last year, as well as the so-called "big five": Great Britain, Germany, Spain, Italy and France, which are the founders and sponsors of the competition and get into the final automatically.
Step 2
You can vote for participants in both the semi-final and the final. At each stage of the competition, spectators are given the right to cast their vote up to 20 times, and it does not matter, one of the performers or several. But keep in mind that according to Eurovision rules, you cannot vote for a representative of your country.
Step 3
Do not forget that Eurovision is a song contest, not individual performers or participating countries, so try to objectively assess the musical properties of the composition.
Step 4
While playing a song that you like, pay attention to the serial number of the contestant: usually it, along with the name of the country, is indicated in the lower left corner of the television screen. Memorize or write it down.
Step 5
TV viewers will vote after the last song of the competition ends. The hosts will kick off and announce the end, so keep an eye on the broadcast.
Step 6
You will be able to vote for the song you like via SMS or a phone call to the numbers that will be displayed and voiced by the hosts of the competition. Send a text message with the serial number of the participant who won your sympathy, or call the phone number, the last 2 digits of which correspond to the number of the participant you have chosen.
Step 7
Keep in mind that voting by SMS or phone call is charged as a paid information service. The cost of each of them will be indicated in the televoting window, but you can be guided by the prices of the last few years, which were approximately 40-45 rubles per message or call. Make sure in advance that there is a sufficient amount on the balance of your phone.
