The next step for Miller was the collaboration with the famous writer Roger Mackenzie on the creation of the graphic novel "Daredevil". The series of comics about Batman under the general title "The Return of the Dark Knight" Frank performed in his own personal manner. After the series was released, films about the "dark knight" in Hollywood began to be made using Miller's aesthetics. Miller had a successful career as an illustrator and comic book writer. For the Daredevil comic series, he received the prestigious Inklot Award from the Guild of American Artists.
In Frank's personal life, not everything is going smoothly. For almost twenty years he lived in legal marriage with Lynn Varley. The husband and wife worked together. Frank drew comics, and Lynn painted them. In 2005, they decided to part ways. The couple had no children left.
