Brian Brown (full name Brian Threadway Brown) is an Australian theater, film and television actor, producer and screenwriter. Nominee for the Golden Globe and Emmy Awards. Winner of the Australian Film Institute Award, Member of the Order of Australia (AM; Member of the Order of Australia) for Service to Society.
In the 1960s, Brown began playing small roles in amateur productions. Then he went to England, where he became a member of the London theater troupe "Old Vic". Returning to Australia, he performed at the Genesian Theater.

Brown met his future wife in 1983 during the filming of the project "The Thorn Birds". His chosen one is called Rachel Ward. Three months after they met, Brian and Rachel got married.
