Increasingly, ordinary people want to become election observers to make sure that the vote is fair and that all opinions are taken into account. You can do this even without leaving your own apartment. You will need a minimum - Russian citizenship and a passport.

Instructions
Step 1
As you know, observers can be representatives of various parties taking part in the elections, as well as members of the media. In fact, you don't have to run to get a job at a newspaper or join a party. For example, you can participate in the Citizen Observer project. On the project website, you will be asked to indicate your last name, first name and patronymic, region of residence, contact phone number and e-mail, to which you will receive a letter about what time and where you will help keep order.
Step 2
You do not have to be a member of any party to become an election observer, but you can represent it. To do this, select the party whose views are closest to you and sign up as observers through it. This can be done using the Internet by going to the party's website and filling out a special form.
Step 3
If there is no Internet access, call and sign up by phone. You will be given a direction with which you will go to work on your site. Try to register as an observer as early as possible, as there may be no seats available on the last days before an election.
Step 4
On the eve of voting, you must visit your polling station and register with the register of observers. Each election commission maintains such a register. After that, you can be considered a full-fledged observer at the elections, you can be present when the protocol on the voting results is drawn up, point out violations, contact the higher election commissions, and even submit an application to the judicial authorities.
