The election of the mayor is one of the most important events in the life of the city. Since each mayor has his own team of people with a wide variety of knowledge and skills, it is safe to say that you are choosing not so much the mayor as the further path of the city's development.

So how do you vote in the mayoral elections?

Instructions

Step 1

Decide on a candidate. Look at the life story of each candidate, study their plans and promises. Based on this data, make your choice. If you cannot decide in any way, talk to your friends and relatives, they may be able to help you in choosing.

Step 2

Find out the location of the election. Each person is "tied" to his own polling station; voting in another is possible only when submitting an application (see step 3).

To find out the address of your polling station, go to the official website of the CEC of the Russian Federation (link below), click the button "Find your polling station" and select your place of residence. After that, the site will display the address of your polling station, the date of voting and contact information.

Step 3

Change your polling station (for those who want to vote outside the place of registration). To do this, you must come with a passport to the nearest polling station and inform that you are registered in another place and cannot get an absentee certificate.

After that, you will be given a standard application form, filling in which you will be entered into the list of voters at the new polling station, deleting it from the old one.

Please note that the opening hours of the commission can be inconvenient, so it is better to do everything in advance.

Step 5

Go to the voting booth. Check the candidate you want to vote for. You cannot put multiple marks, otherwise the ballot will be considered invalid.

If there is no pen in the booth or she does not write, ask for it from nearby observers, this is their job.
