Vera Alekseevna was born in Tatarstan, in the small village of Sabakeevka, at the end of September 1928. After the birth of his daughter, the father decided to transfer the family to Kazan, where the future Honored Artist of Tatarstan, Vera Titova, grew up.

Vera's dad died during the Finnish war, and her mother raised the girl alone. It was difficult, especially during the Second World War. Vera Alekseevna's mother worked at a flax mill, her daughter often helped her, came to the hot and stuffy workshop even on the night shift.

Vera dreamed about the acting path since childhood. Immediately after graduating from an incomplete secondary school (8 classes), she entered the Kazan theater studio, graduated brilliantly in 1947 and got a place in the troupe of the city drama theater, which bore the name of the famous Vasily Kachalov.

Vera Alekseevna's career began in the theater of her hometown. The bright and charismatic actress received leading roles in performances, went on tour with the troupe of the Kazan DT. Some of the tours became a turning point in her life - she ended up in Leningrad, literally fell in love with this city, decided to stay there.

In the northern capital of the USSR, the young actress from the periphery was not accepted. More precisely, she immediately got a place in the troupe of the Lenin Komsomol Theater, but no one was going to trust her in the main roles. After serving several years there and not receiving recognition, she went to the Leningrad Regional Theater, but even there she did not get the main roles in the plays.

Purposeful and stubborn Vera did not think to give up - she literally stormed the audition for the cinema. 1959 was a fateful year in terms of the development of her television career. Vera Alekseevna played in two films at once - "Hot Soul" and "Quarrel in Lukashi". Despite the fact that the roles were secondary, she was noticed by the directors, there were proposals to be removed.

For nearly 40 years, Vera Alekseevna has played in almost 100 films. She never got the main role in the movie, but her heroines are known and remembered. The partners of the actress of the episode Vera Titova on the set were Oleg Dal, Sergey Yursky, Vitsin and Etush, Marina Neyelova and many others. The family often had disagreements over the profession and career of Vera Alekseevna. When she decided to move to Leningrad, her husband did not support her. Vera left alone without hesitation. The fact that the wife did not take his opinion into account and left her son to her mother for the sake of a career made her husband very angry. Alexander filed for divorce and even tried to take Vladimir away from his grandmother, but later changed his mind. The boy lived with his father, then with his grandmother - the mother of Vera Alekseevna.

The second husband of Vera Titova was her colleague, a talented actor and a very handsome man, Gustavson Alexander. This marriage was happy, and it was overshadowed only by the fact that the actress's son lived in Kazan. The husband tried in every possible way to distract his beloved wife, took her with him on tour, she took part in his concerts.

The couple lived together until the death of her husband - in 1999, Alexander Leontyevich passed away, and Vera Alekseevna was left alone. The couple did not have joint children. The eldest son Vladimir lived in Kazan, did not want to move to St. Petersburg to his mother, and she did not want to return to Kazan.

The last years of the life of the actress Vera Alekseevna Titova

After the death of her second, beloved husband, Vera Alekseevna began to get sick often. The actress was diagnosed with diabetes, which provoked more and more health problems. She did not like to complain, she tried to cope with all her troubles herself. Vera Titova rarely turned to her son for help, feeling guilty in front of him, and he did not often seek to visit his mother. Twice Vladimir offered her to move to him in Kazan, but she refused, fearing that she would cause her son inconvenience with her weakness.

The actress Vera Titova died in March 2006, at the 78th year of her life, having outlived her husband by 7 years. They buried her at the Smolensk cemetery in St. Petersburg. The grave is looked after by her few friends. The son comes rarely, even less often than during the life of his mother, explaining this by a serious workload in the professional sense. Vladimir Sysoev, the son of Vera Alekseevna Titova, is engaged in scientific activities, has a doctorate in technology and mechanical engineering.
