Gennady Bachinsky is one of the brightest and most memorable Russian DJs. His duet with Stillavin had a huge following. And, unlike many radio stars, they recognized him by sight. He walked towards his career quite confidently, and on the radio he felt like a fish in water. And all this was cut short by an accident.
Radio presenters can be as popular as certain television stars or newspaper authors. If DJs work at a popular station and broadcast demanded broadcasts, they become known throughout the country. This, for example, happened with the popular presenter of the radio station Gennady Bachinsky. At one time he was well recognized not only by his voice or manner of speaking, but also by his appearance.

Biography of Gennady Bachinsky begins on September 1, 1971. The future star of the airwaves was born in the city of Yarovoe, Altai Territory. Those who knew him at the time note that he was an inquisitive child and was quite active. Naturally for the boy, he was interested in technology and everything connected with it. It was then that the first rudiments of his future profession appeared - Gene really liked the radio.
So, for example, a child could sit for hours near the receiver and turn the knob, trying to understand where the voices and sounds come from. At that time, he had a tube radio in his house. Bachinsky himself noted that if it were a transistor, the radio would not arouse such interest. Subsequently, the craving for radio and creativity led Gennady to the radio circle.
In high school, Gena thought about his career and began to think about where and how he could continue his education. As a result, he opted for the Electrotechnical Institute, which ended up in Novosibirsk. But later, under the influence of the words of the head of his radio circle that the future belongs to computers, the young man decided to go to St. Petersburg.
Before the university, Bachinsky went to potatoes (at that time it was a normal practice), where he met the guys with whom they were united by the same musical preferences. Together they decided to create their own group. Among his acquaintances, in the get-together, where Gennady began to rotate, was Andrei Temkin. It was he who later opened the way to Bachinsky on the radio.
Carier start
The first place of work of Gennady Bachinsky was the radio station "Polis". Here he worked until 1994. Moreover, on this radio, he received all the basics of the profession, because he happened to be in the role of a sound engineer, and a screenwriter, and an editor, and a journalist, and actually a DJ. Bachinsky and Temkin's program aired once a week. However, he has not yet become famous.
Working for "Polis", Bachinsky meets Konstantin Murzenko, who later achieved more success in cinema. He also became Gennady's co-host in the program "Inside Out". In addition, it was at this radio station that Bachinsky met the future program director of the radio station "Modern" Kirill Begletsov.
Radio "Modern" and others in the career of Bachinsky
A certain contribution to the career and popularity of Bachinsky was made by his work at the radio station "Modern". He got here thanks to the patronage of Begletsov's girlfriend. In working at this radio station, Bachinsky was satisfied with everything - he was here like a fish in water. The radio station gave him the opportunity to try his hand at different professions, and Gennady worked with pleasure. On one of the broadcasts, he met his future partner Sergei Stillavin. And this meeting became predetermined.
Men of different temperaments quickly became friends, found a common language and literally became close. A real strong friendship - this is how the tandem of Bachinsky and Stillavin can be characterized. At first, Bachinsky conducted the morning broadcasts alone, but then he connected Stillavin to them, forming a bright duet that the listeners loved.
After the closure of Radio Modern in 2001, the already popular duet moved to Russian Radio. To do this, they had to move from St. Petersburg to Moscow. But this did not become any difficulty, since in the northern capital, they did not offer any particularly interesting conditions, and the producer of radio Pryanikov was persistent.
At the same time, the DJ did not like the repertoire of Russian Radio. And when, literally a year later, the director of radio Maximum called Bachinsky and offered to work for them, Gennady did not hesitate for long. They moved to the new station with Stillavin. They were responsible for the Morning Show. Experts characterized the program as “verbal lawlessness”. The presenters allowed themselves a lot, and the listeners liked it.
The last place of work in the biography of Bachinsky was radio Mayak. True, he stayed here for only six months. There was also a morning show in his area of responsibility at the radio station. But besides this, Bachinsky was also busy creating more serious projects.
Personal life
Naturally, the fans were interested in the personal life of the popular presenter. Bachinsky was distinguished by a rather attractive appearance, plus he had a great sense of humor. It is clear that such a man could not be alone and enjoyed the attention of the girls. At the same time, Gennady himself was rather frivolous and did not tune in to long-term relationships. The first wife of the merry fellow was his old friend Marina. In 1997, their daughter Katya was born. However, this marriage did not last long. Due to Gennady's passion for radio and work, he constantly disappeared at the radio station. Marina also lacked the support of her husband. So they got divorced.
After that, Bachinsky for some time received the status of an enviable goldsmith. But after a few years he met his new love Julia. She was one of his guests on the program. Bachinsky did not rush and looked after her for a long time. The couple got married and in 2007 their daughter Lisa was born.
Tragic case
Bachinsky's active life and career ended literally at its peak. On January 12, 2008, the radio host got into an accident and died on the spot. In the afternoon, he was returning home from a trip, where he went to obtain documents for the house. In conditions of poor visibility and fog, he went to overtake the truck at a speed of 100 kilometers per hour. At this time, a car was driving towards him, but Bachinsky could not avoid a collision with it. An ambulance arrived at the scene of the accident three minutes later. However, the doctors only had to state the death of the radio host.
