Mikhail Men - Russian official, State Duma deputy, head of the Ministry of Construction of the Russian Federation. Previously, he held the governor's post in the Ivanovo region and the post of vice-mayor of the Russian capital. Men also headed the regional government.
Childhood and youth
Mikhail was born on November 12, 1960 in the village of Semkhoz, Moscow Region. This was the family of the priest Alexander Men and the church servant Natalya Fedorovna Men.
Mikhail's father was a famous person in religious circles. He attracted attention thanks to his controversial worldview, which ensured him the presence of admirers and haters, both among religious denominations and far beyond them. Alexander Men was killed in 1990, the murder was not solved. Mikhail Me's mother was a deeply religious person. She served in the church and had the position of the headman of the parish of the church located in Shubin. The family had another child, Mikhail's older sister, Lena.
Alexander Men saw his son as the successor of his affairs. But the desires of the father did not coincide with the desires of his son, who dreamed of a career as an artist. By a happy coincidence, he managed to play the main role in a movie. At that time, Mikhail Menu was barely 10 years old. The creative debut took place in the film "Deniskin's Stories". But the parents were categorical in their opinion and influence, therefore, after many years of disputes, after graduating from school, Mikhail Men became a student of the INGP im. I. Gubkin. But due to academic failure, studies had to be interrupted. Mikhail was simply expelled, based on the negative results of the session control. Although, according to his convictions, he would not have been allowed to take place in such a serious sphere due to the fact that his father is a priest and his mother is a church employee.
Career
After Mikhail was expelled from the institute, a summons came to the army, where he served for two years. After the service, Men entered the Institute of Culture. As a student, the talented Mikhail organized the creation of the vocal-instrumental ensemble "Most", which was popular among rockers. They even had a busy touring schedule around the country. However, the touring life did not last long. Mikhail Men decides to leave the group and begins his career as the director of a recreation park, and a little later becomes the owner of a publishing cooperative.
Working actively, Mikhail decided to get a second higher education in the field of "jurisprudence". He received his Ph. D. degree and defended his dissertation.
Since 1993 Men has been balancing to the capital's regional Duma. Mikhail Men made all important decisions in his life only with the blessing of his confessors. And the desire to become a civil servant was no exception. Two years later, in 1995, he was elected to the State Duma, and he joined the Yabloko party, and also replaced the head of the Moscow Region administration, Boris Gromov. In 1998 Mikhail Men became vice-mayor of Moscow. Ten years later, Mikhail left his party and became a member of United Russia. Later he took the governor's chair in the Ivanovo region, in which he remained until 2013, after which he decided to move to Moscow, where his wife and children lived. Today Mikhail Aleksandrovich Men is an outstanding and famous politician who holds the post of Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation.
