Childhood and youth
It can be difficult for a talented person to choose a profession for life. In such situations, it is often a lucky chance or the call of ancestors that pushes you to a certain decision. Albert Nurullovich Asadullin was born on September 1, 1948 in a large military family. Parents at that time lived in the city of Kazan. His father, a retired veteran of the Great Patriotic War, received a disability pension. The mother was engaged in raising children and housekeeping. Three native children and four adopted children grew up in the house.
At family holidays, my mother always sang folk songs and romances. She had a rare timbre voice, which Albert inherited. The boy loved to listen to drinking songs, but was not going to become a singer. From an early age, he showed the ability to draw. Asadullin studied well at school. After receiving a certificate of maturity, he entered the local art school. He graduated brilliantly and decided to continue his studies at the Leningrad Academy of Arts. As a student, Albert actively participated in the social and cultural life of the educational institution.
Creative way
In the student dormitory, Albert mastered the simple technique of playing the seven-string guitar. He sang several folk and courtyard songs, and he was immediately invited to the amateur ensemble "Ghosts". In 1975, Asadullin received a diploma in architecture, but did not work in his specialty. By that time he was already performing on stage as a soloist of the vocal and instrumental ensemble "Singing Guitars". The young vocalist became famous when he played one of the main roles in the first Soviet rock opera, Orpheus and Eurydice. The part of Eurydice was performed by a young singer Irina Ponarovskaya.
Over the next five years, Asadullin toured with the ensemble throughout the Soviet Union. At the international festival "Orpheus-79" he received two awards. The history of the music competition did not know such a case. After a while, Albert decided to pursue a solo career and founded the Pulse group. In the early 90s, when the situation in the country changed dramatically, Asadullin included Tatar folk songs in his repertoire. At the beginning of the 21st century, the singer often gives concerts, works a lot on new works.

In one interview with meticulous journalists, Albert admitted that he did not know musical notation. He memorizes all his songs and parts in musicals by ear. For his great services in the development of national culture, Asadullin was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of the RSFSR".
