Zainab Makhayeva's voice captivates the audience. The inhabitants of her native Dagestan know the singer of Avar songs. It is loved by admirers of Caucasian music in Russia and outside the big country. More than once, Makhayeva's compositions were awarded prizes in song contests. And the singer's concerts attract thousands of spectators and listeners.
From the biography of Z. Makhaeva
The Dagestan pop star was born in the village of Mugurukh, in Dagestan, on March 7, 1972. Avarka by nationality, Zainab sings most of the songs in his native language. Music entered the life of a talented girl early. As a child, Zainab realized that she would definitely connect her life with songwriting. In the 3rd grade of the school, the girl distinguished herself in the regional song contest.
Zainab was not an excellent student at school. The only subject where the schoolgirl was always the first was physical education. The teachers turned out to be understanding people, they often turned a blind eye to the fact that the girl who was carried away by the performances missed classes. And Zainab, meanwhile, was strenuously striving for her dream.
Everyone in the family loved music. Merry songs were sung at every opportunity. Therefore, Zainab's passion for music did not surprise his parents. But soon the family suffered grief: father Zainab died. Mom, who worked as a nurse, had to raise thirteen children on her own.
It was then that Zainab realized that with her creativity she could heal people - if not physically, then spiritually. Mom believed in her daughter's talent and tried in every possible way to support her in her endeavors.
Zainab Makhaeva, who was not distinguished by her zeal for studies in previous years, nevertheless received a higher education: she graduated from the pedagogical institute.
Creativity and career
2003-th year. For the first time, a solo concert of the performer took place at the Russian Theater of Makhachkala. At the same time Makhaeva released the album "Mirror of the Soul". The songs of this project quickly became hits, they were often performed on the radio. The award for the success was the Golden Disc, which became a gift from the Priboy radio station.
Soon Makhaeva became an Honored Artist of Dagestan, and in 2008 she became a People's Artist of this Caucasian republic. The first successful album was followed by others. Zainab's songs gained popularity not only among Dagestanis. They fell in love with her work in Chechnya.
Every year Makhaeva publishes in her republic a colorful magazine "Zainab", dedicated to her work. The publication contains interesting facts and information from the biography of the singer.
A big gift for Zainab's fans was her big solo concert, which took place in the capital of Russia in 2013.
Makhayeva's songs are listened to far beyond the borders of her small homeland. Listeners of Ukraine, Turkey, Azerbaijan are familiar with the work of the talented Dagestan singer. She has performed more than once in the largest cities of the Russian Federation.
For several years now, Zainab has been actively cooperating with the musical groups "Youth of Dagestan", "Lezginka", "Dagestan".
Z. Makhaeva was married twice. The singer has a son. But Zainab Alievna herself does not like to talk to journalists about her personal life. Representatives of the press nevertheless found out that at the moment the heart of the Dagestan singer is not occupied by anyone. And Zainab herself has repeatedly admitted that she highly values freedom.
