Robert Scott Speedman is a Canadian actor with over forty film roles. The popularity and fame of Speedman was brought by the role of Michael Corwin in the cult film "Underworld", as well as in its sequel - "Underworld 2: Evolution".
Speedman began his creative career in 1995. He was casting for the role of Robin in the famous project of Joel Schumacher and Tim Burton. This project was the movie "Batman Forever". Unfortunately, Scott did not pass the audition, and the role in the film about Batman and Robin went to actor Chris O'Donnell.
Only eight years later, Speedman managed to rise to the top of fame and become the owner of the Saturn Prize for his role in the cult film Another World.

The boy was born in England in the fall of 1975. Parents had nothing to do with art. My father worked in a trading company, and my mother taught at school. The family, having lived for several years in London, moved to America. Scott was four years old at the time.
The boy was fond of swimming from an early age. He was promised an excellent sports career. Speedman has repeatedly participated in competitions and won prizes. But due to a neck injury, Scott was forced to stop doing what he loved.
After leaving the sport, the young man began to take an interest in theater, to participate in school performances. Creativity completely captured Scott, because in high school he finally decided on the choice of a profession, deciding to become an actor. After graduating from high school, Speedman entered the University of York (Toronto) at the Department of Liberal Arts, where he graduated.
Film career
The first auditions were unsuccessful for the young actor. Scott was a contender for one of the main roles in the cult Batman movie, but the audition failed. However, the disappointment did not last long, soon the young man began to try himself in television projects, gradually honing his acting skills. Speedman got his first role on television in a series called "Goosebumps".
The long-awaited success came to Speedman after the release of the series "Felicity", where he got one of the central roles. For his work on this project, the actor was nominated three times for the FOX Film Award for Best Television Actors.
Gradually, Speedman's acting career began to grow. Since 2000, he has participated in the filming of several films. But fame came to him only a few years later, when the actor was invited to the project of Lan Weisman "Another World". Speedman was approved for the role of Michael Corwin, and Kate Beckinsale became his co-star.
The story of the two clans - werewolves and vampires - was well received by the audience. And two years later, the second part of the film, "Another World 2: Evolution", was released.
