Russian actor Danila Dunaev is a person gifted with many talents. He worked in the theaters named after Vakhtangov, Mayakovsky and Et Cetera, starred in the sensational series and films Young Wolfhound, Vivat, Anna!, Secrets of Palace Revolutions, Montecristo and Return of the Musketeers. Dunaev leads the musical group created by him.
The popularity of the artist has significantly increased his participation in the shows "One-to-one" and "Just the same". Danila taught acting skills for several seasons.
The beginning of creativity
The biography of the future artist began in 1981. The child was born in the capital's family of economist Larisa Dunaeva and the famous athlete-fencer Leonid Dunaev on July 15. The boy has an older sister, Yaroslav.
Schoolboy Danila was interested in everything new. He studied computer science, studied accordion and ballroom dancing. However, the parents pinned the greatest hopes on the sporting future of their son.
From an early age, Dunaev Jr. was engaged in fencing, freestyle wrestling and karate. The boy, after a year and a half, realized that these activities did not bring him pleasure. He switched to basketball and quickly made notable strides.
Danila decided to receive further education at the Faculty of Psychology at the Moscow Aviation Institute. At MAI, the student began to play KVN. Having received the profession of a manager in the social sphere in 2002, Dunaev entered the Shchukin school.
A career in cinema began in the third year. The director Svetlana Druzhinina drew attention to the textured young man. Family and work
One of the facets of Dunaev's talent was the skill of the teacher. He works in the children's theater "Domisolka", teaches acting. Danila founded The Therapeutic Poetheater. In it, the actor performs the works of his favorite musicians, conducts art therapy sessions, teaches the audience the basics of theatrical skills. The idea that came to Dunaev long ago was embodied and proved to be very relevant. Fans attend all the performances with pleasure. Spectators call these performances personal growth trainings. Danila publishes some of his performances on his YouTube channel. Dunaev visited Germany last August with his own performances.
Since studying at the Moscow Aviation Institute, Dunaev has been a DJ in Moscow clubs. He writes songs himself. After meeting the composer John Olin, the artist found his own arranger and sound engineer. Cooperation has been going on since 2008.
At the same time, vocal classes began with Zhanna Rozhdestvenskaya. Dunaev presented the album of his compositions "Relay" in 2016. Most of the songs were written by him in the genres of hip-hop, soul, funk, nu-jazz and electro-pop. Danila performs under the pseudonym DD with his team "DD-Band".
