The accuracy of the spelling of the address on the envelope determines whether your shipment reaches the recipient. Filling in the fields for the index will speed up the processing and, therefore, the delivery of the letter. It will not be superfluous to indicate the return address: the letter will be returned to it if the addressee does not receive it or it turns out that you must pay extra for mail services.

Instructions
Step 1
The recipient's address field is usually located at the bottom right of the envelope.
In the "To" line, indicate the last name and initials (or full name and patronymic) of the recipient. If the letter is addressed to an organization, this line can be left blank.
Step 2
In the "Where" lines, enter the recipient's address: the name of the organization (if the letter is addressed to such), house number, street, apartment or office, city, district, if relevant, a constituent entity of the Federation (or a territorial unit of another state), country (if the letter is abroad).

Fill in the index box in the lower left corner of the envelope. Write the numbers in accordance with the sample on the back of the envelope.
This field is for machine processing, and its movement of the letter through intermediate postal points.
