Evgeny Ivanovich Efimov was born in the Moscow region on February 18, 1908.

Front-line cameraman during the Great Patriotic War

Evgeny Efimov's wife - Celestina Lvovna Klyachko. She was a children's writer, front-line photojournalist, who filmed the capture of Berlin, photographed the work of the cameramen of the film group of the 1st Belorussian Front; author of the book "In Search of the Disappeared Tribe" (1966).
