Evgeny Efimov - front-line, Soviet cameraman and director of documentary films. The footage he shot was included in the documentary "Majdanek - the Cemetery of Europe", which tells about the death camp in Poland. After the war, he shot stories for newsreels: "Railwayman", "Soyuzkinozhurnal", "News of the Day", "Pioneer", "Soviet Sport". Evgeny Ivanovich Efimov was born in the Moscow region on February 18, 1908.
In 1926, Evgeny Efimov was educated at the Moscow Industrial and Economic Polytechnic and the School-Studio of Film Actors (established in 1918) named after B. V. Tchaikovsky.
In 1926 - 1927 - worked as a laboratory assistant, assistant operator of the film factory "Gosvoenkino".

Front-line cameraman during the Great Patriotic War
At the front, Evgeny Efimov since July 1941. He worked in tandem with cameraman Nikolai Lytkin. In 1944, Yevgeny Efimov was assigned to the Polish Army. He made a great contribution when filming the battles for the liberation of Tikhvin, Kharkov, Warsaw, Berlin.
