Rick Riordan is a popular American writer, author of the series Percy Jackson and the Olympians and Heroes of Olympus.
Education
Rick Riordan was born on June 5, 1964 in San Antonio, home to nearly one and a half million inhabitants. The family of the future writer was truly creative. Mother was a musician and artist, and my father loved to sculpt figurines. Rick, having graduated from school in his city and received a complete secondary education, decided to go the same creative way and become a musician.
North Texas college was good for him, but he never graduated. Riordan transferred to a university in Austin, Texas. After graduation, Riordan received two higher educations - in the field of English and in history.
