In the Soviet Union, this actor was loved, although he did not play the main roles. Savely Kramarov had a memorable appearance. In everyday life, he was serious and collected, and on the screen he appeared in an image that always causes a smile.
Difficult childhood
Savely Viktorovich Kramarov was born on October 13, 1934 in an intelligent family. At that time, the parents lived in Moscow. My father was engaged in law practice. The mother ran the household and raised her son. During that period, events took place in the country, which were later called the great terror. When the boy was four years old, his father was arrested and sentenced to eight years in the camps. On the street Savva began to tease the son of an enemy of the people.
The future film actor had to take a sip. For a long time, my mother could not find a job. In an orphaned house, sometimes there was not a piece of bread for dinner. The constant stress and difficult living conditions undermined the mother's health. She became seriously ill and died of cancer. The sixteen-year-old was left in the care of his uncle. They lived in a communal apartment. At school, Kramarov did not study well. I missed classes and interrupted from three to two. Most of all he loved to spend time in the cinema. The fact is that a neighbor worked as a controller in a cinema and allowed Savely to enter the hall for free.
Creative activity
Savely knew all Soviet and foreign actors by their first and last names. He knew and secretly dreamed of acting in films himself. After graduating from school, he decided to get a specialized education and applied to the Shchukin Theater School. But he failed to pass the creative competition. Then Kramarov entered the Moscow Forestry Institute. During his student years, Savely was actively involved in the theater studio, which operated at the Central House of Artists. After graduation, he worked as a gardener for some time. And at the same time I visited the film sets.
Once Kramarov was lucky, and he was offered to take part in the crowd. Savely played his first role in the film "Guys from Our Yard". The textured performer was noticed and invited to the shooting of the film "Farewell to the pigeons". Initially, it so happened that the actor was offered the role of eccentrics and simpletons. Kramarov was not at all burdened with such a role. It is interesting to note that each, even a fleeting role, remained in the memory of the audience for a long time. Nationwide popularity was brought to him by the image of Ilyuha the Oblique in the film "The Elusive Avengers".
Emigration and personal life
In 1974, Kramarov was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of the RSFSR". And literally two years later, they stopped offering roles in cinema and theater. The reason for this attitude was an uncle who went to Israel. In 1981 Savely left his homeland after him. In the USA, where the artist settled, he managed to star in several films.
Kramarov's personal life was not very smooth. The actor tried to start a family three times, but circumstances opposed it. He lived with his third wife Natalya Siradze for the last six months before his death. Savely Kramarov died in June 1995 from cancer.
