Talent and luck don't always go alongside. This rule applies to all spheres of human activity. Oleg Korchikov made a worthy contribution to the development of Soviet cinema. He worked conscientiously on stage and on the set.

Oleg Glebovich Korchikov was born on January 2, 1939 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents lived at that time in the village of Pogranichny on the territory of the Primorsky Territory. My father worked on the railroad. The mother was engaged in housekeeping. The situation at the border in those days was tense. Soviet people lived in constant readiness for military action.
As a child, Oleg participated in exercises to repel enemy air raids. He knew his place in the bomb shelter, which was not far from his house. Korchikov went to school after the Victory over Japan. The boy studied well. Most of all he liked the lessons of physics and mathematics. Oleg took an active part in social events. He loved to perform in amateur performances. In high school he became interested in saber fencing. And even several times he performed at regional competitions.
Professional activity
After graduating from school, Oleg decided to get a specialized education at the Physics and Technology Faculty of the famous Ural Polytechnic Institute. I passed the entrance exams on the first try. In his free time, he continued to engage in fencing. And he even fulfilled the standard of the USSR master of sports. In addition to his sporting success, Korchikov was engaged in creative work - he took part in the performances of the Fiztech student ensemble. Ultimately, he dropped out of college and went to Leningrad. Here, in the city on the Neva, Oleg entered the Institute of Theater, Music and Cinematography.
In 1967, Korchikov received a diploma and left to serve in the Volgograd Drama Theater. The acting career of Oleg Glebovich was uneven. Three years later, he moved to the hero city of Tula. After that, how many years he worked at the Yerevan Drama Theater. And only in 1988 he was entrenched in the troupe of the Minsk National Drama Theater. The actor became widely known for his roles in the cinema. Critics and viewers especially note his participation in the films "Kalina Krasnaya" and "Was a real trumpet player." In total, he has more than 130 works in cinema.
Recognition and privacy
In 1980, Oleg Korchikov was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of the RSFSR". The actor was awarded the Badge of Honor of the Komsomol Central Committee for the aesthetic and patriotic education of youth.
Very little is known about Oleg Glebovich's personal life. In his youth, he tried to start a family with an actress from the Volgograd theater. However, the husband and wife decided to leave, not having lived under the same roof for a year. Korchikov met old age alone. The actor passed away in July 2017.
