The birthplace of Evgeny Kungurov is the village of Zarechny, Sverdlovsk region, where he was born in 1983. From an early age, the boy showed musical abilities, and his parents decided to send him to a music school. Eugene learned to play the button accordion, and also began to go on stage, not only playing the instrument, but also performing various songs. At the age of 16, he entered the Moscow Conservatory.
