Biography: early years
Zabit Akhmedovich Magomedsharipov was born on March 1, 1991 in the Dagestan city of Khasavyurt. He is Akhvakhets by nationality. In the North Caucasus, wrestling is a fairly popular sport. Parents sent him to the freestyle wrestling section when he was barely seven years old.
At 13, Zabit became interested in Chinese martial arts. He began attending Wushu-Sanda classes. This is a kind of hand-to-hand combat in the Chinese manner, which combines kickboxing techniques, punches with limbs, wrestling on the ground, grabs, jerks, throws. Classes were held at the famous sports school in Dagestan "Five sides of the world". In this single combat, Zabit achieved great success.
