Sometimes it becomes necessary to send some thing or just a gift for a birthday or other special occasion. Knowing the address and place of residence, you can use the services of the nearest post office, from where your item will be delivered to the right person at a certain time.

Step 1
To send a parcel to Ukraine, go to the nearest post office in Russia.
Step 2
Fill out a special form, indicate the recipient's address and zip code. Please fill in these details carefully, it is better to check the correctness of the address several times. Then the specialist will pack your parcel and you should pay for the shipping according to the tariffs. When sending any valuable items, ask the post office employee to make an inventory and arrange insurance for you.
Step 3
Be sure to insure valuable parcels. This will give you a guarantee of damages in case of loss. You pay extra for insurance. Allowable weight of a parcel post for international mail: up to 2 kg, and a parcel consisting only of books up to 5 kg.
Step 4
If your parcel should be delivered to the addressee urgently, then use express mail. It is available at many major train stations. If you cannot find express mail yourself, contact the information desk at the station and they will tell you where to find it. Shipping cost depends on the size of the parcel. The cheapest way is to send small items or some documents in a paper envelope, if the item is large or medium-sized, then delivery is more expensive. If you need your parcel to arrive in a very short time, then sending by express mail is ideal.
Step 5
Give your parcel to the conductor of the train to Ukraine. Provide the recipient with the train and carriage number. He will meet this train at the station and receive your package. The conductor should be given a small amount of money or a small present.
