The article is mainly for people who like to have everything in order.
It is necessary
- - program foobar2000 (unfortunately, there is no Russian version anywhere)
- - the audio file itself
- - naturally laptop / PC
- - OS not lower than Windows 7
Instructions
Step 1
Not all audio file names can be changed simply by renaming the file itself. Rather, of course, the name of the file itself will change. But, roughly speaking, not completely. The so-called metadata of the file will not change. I will analyze it using my example. Once upon a time I was presented with my first car in my life. Naturally, as soon as I got my license, I stopped walking even to a nearby store for bread, but not the point. Like all car owners, I often listen to music in the car. And since I love her, and sometimes do it myself, in silence I did not ride in principle. Over time, I began to notice that some tracks in the radio are displayed differently than on my laptop. I started googling where I learned about the concept of metadata. Later I came across foobar2000. I have no problems with English, so I quickly got used to it. Until now, this is the main player for me. And every time in it I change the data, and in the radio in the car everything is displayed as it should.
The audio file should preferably be in mp3 format, but not necessarily, the program supports many formats. We go to the program's website - https://www.foobar2000.org/download, I think you can figure out how to download. If not, then the item "Download foobar2000 v1.6.4" is ours. Install and run the program.
Step 2
The program will offer several design styles to choose from. Choosing a convenient one. After that, we have our playlist in front of us, just drag and drop the audio file we need into it. Right-click on the file. The file submenu opens, we find "Properties"
Step 3
We edit the file data, in the "Metadata" tab. We save. Everything, the metadata we need has been successfully modified and saved.
