When a registered letter is sent, a unique postal identifier is assigned to it, which subsequently allows you to track the process of forwarding the letter. This can be done using the Russian Post website.
Instructions
Step 1
Go to the official page of the Russian Post https://pochta-rossii.rf/. On the Services menu, click Mail Tracking.
Step 2
Each postal item is registered in the mail, as a result of which any letter receives its own unique code. For domestic shipment, this code is a fourteen-digit set. Enter the postal identifier of your registered letter in the appropriate field. You can see the identifier in the check given to you in the mail when receiving your letter.
Step 3
Enter the entire number in full, omitting spaces and parentheses if they are on your check. Click the "Find" button below and you will see the search results for your shipment.
Step 4
At each stage of sending a postal item, its identification number is recorded in the accounting and control base (OASU RPO), so in the search results you can see the status of the postal item at the moment - where and when the letter was sent, when and to which post office it was sent, whether it was received it is the addressee.
Step 5
This correspondence tracking system operates in 77 regions and covers 32,000 postal facilities. The system allows anyone to have access to information about both domestic registered mailings and international ones. However, the full implementation of this system has not yet been completed.
Step 6
If the status of your letter does not change for a long time, if the letter is lost or for some reason did not reach the addressee, you can write a statement about the search for the postal item. Take the application form at any post office or use the link
