A wedding involves not only pleasant, but also quite tangible paper chores. They come to every woman after registering a marriage in the event that she decided to take the surname of her spouse. It will not be possible to get off with one or two replacements - it is necessary to change almost the entire list of available documents.

Step 1
The first and most important thing to do is change your civil passport. For this, the Russian law gives the newlywed exactly one month. In order to obtain a passport, you must write an application, attach a marriage certificate, a receipt for payment of duties, a photo and an old passport. At the time of registration of a new document, a temporary certificate must be issued, which can be presented as needed. A new passport is made on average about 2 weeks, so there should not be any particular inconveniences in connection with the replacement of the main document itself.
Step 2
Exactly the same procedure awaits with a passport - it also needs to be changed. Depending on the sample of the document (whether it will be of a new or old generation), a different fee is paid, a completed application form, photographs and a Russian passport with a new surname are attached. All these documents are transferred to the department of the FMS at the place of registration and in a month a new passport should be in hand.
Step 3
The third, and perhaps the second most important document is, of course, a medical policy. It must be exchanged at the branch of the insurance company that made it before. At the same time, for replacement, you will only need to present an old policy, a marriage certificate and a new passport.
Step 4
The pension card is also subject to mandatory renewal. Someone will be able to help in replacing it at work, while others will have to do it on their own. In order to change it, you need to contact the PFR department, write a statement, provide SNILS with the old surname, a new passport and a marriage certificate.
Step 5
In addition to SNILS, the TIN is also subject to mandatory replacement. The sequence of actions is the same as with a pension certificate: you need to come to the tax office at the place of registration, write an application and provide all the necessary documents (new passport, old TIN and marriage certificate).
Step 6
The entire set of documents for the car is also subject to complete replacement: driver's license, vehicle certificate and CASCO and OSAGO policies. The first two documents are issued by the traffic police, policies - by the insurance company.
Step 7
It will not be superfluous to change all documents related to the property. The certificate of ownership and any securities - it is better to re-register it with a new surname.
Step 8
And, of course, all bank cards and previously opened accounts. All of them can be easily changed at the nearest bank branch if you have a new passport.
