Childhood and education
Nargiz Zakirova was born in 1970 in Tashkent. It is difficult to imagine a more musical family than the Nargiz family. Her mother was a famous pop singer, grandparents sang in opera and operetta, and only the most non-musical dad just played drums in an Uzbek group. After school, Nargiz entered the circus school at the vocal faculty and continued to travel around the country with the orchestra of Anatoly Bakhtin.
Becoming a singer
For the first time, the singer declared herself in the Jurmala-86 talent competition. Nargiz was then fifteen years old. She won the Audience Award and did not stop there. Then there were several more music competitions in which the singer confidently declared herself.
