If you want to become a citizen of another country, being currently a citizen of Uzbekistan, you will have to collect a lot of documents in order for your application to be granted.
Instructions
Step 1
All documents required for renunciation of citizenship of the Republic of Uzbekistan must be submitted to the UVViG of this country in 3 copies according to the list.
Step 2
Write an application for renunciation of citizenship addressed to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Attach the following documents to the application: application form; an autobiography drawn up according to the form (if relatives are leaving with you, you should provide in the application form and all the necessary information about them); a certified copy of all pages of the Uzbek passport; 3 photos 4 × 5 cm; certified copies of birth and marriage certificates (if children are traveling with you, present their birth certificates as well); written consent of children from 14 to 18 years old to renounce citizenship, certified by a notary; the consent of the second parent, expressing his attitude to the child's departure for permanent residence in another country (if only one of the parents leaves with the child); written confirmation of your dependents that you have no material claims against you (if there are such persons); certified copies of passports of your close relatives who are residents of other countries (if any).
At the request of the UVViG of Uzbekistan, you will have to provide other documents confirming that you have no material and other obligations in relation to the citizens and organizations of this country. In addition, you may need a certificate of divorce and death of your close relatives and documents on adoption or deprivation of parental rights.
Step 3
All information contained in documents must be clear and complete. Corrections are not allowed.
Step 4
Each of the three required packages of documents must be filed in a separate binder in accordance with the list. Submit the documents by coming to UVViG in person, or send them by registered mail. Within a year, a decision will be made on your application.
