Early years, family

Zlata Leonidovna was born in Murmansk on January 12, 1986. Her father is a military surgeon, her mother is a teacher. The family lived in Murmansk for 5 years, then they moved to Leningrad, and then to Crimea, to the city of Sudak. Later, Zlata's father served in the Ukrainian Navy, his mother went into business. Sister Julia became a lawyer.

Zlata attended a music school, mastered playing the piano. From the age of 12 she worked part-time, becoming a saleswoman in a stall, and from the age of 14 she sang in restaurants.

After graduating from school, the girl studied at the school. Gliera. Then she immediately entered 2 universities: the music institute and the university at the faculty of psychology. In parallel with her studies, Zlata performed as part of the song and dance ensemble, was the soloist of a musical group.

Creative biography

The girl took the pseudonym Ognevich Zlata later, when she began to develop a solo career. As she herself admitted, she did not like her name since childhood.

Popular songs "Angels", Cuckoo "," Island "," Addiction ". Later, the singer began to think about taking part in the Eurovision Song Contest. In 2010-2011. the girl got into the qualifying rounds, but did not become the winner.

In 2010, Ognevich performed at the Slavyansky Bazaar festival, and the next year she won the Crimea Music Fest. In 2012, Zlata was the face of an advertising campaign for vacation spots in Crimea.

In 2013, the singer became the winner of the Eurovision selection round. She was 3rd in the competition. In the same period, the singer, together with Miroshnichenko Timur, a journalist, was entrusted with hosting the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Later she became the Honored Artist of the Crimea. Zlata was one of the mentors in the "Battle of Choirs-2013" project. Donetsk choir (her wards) became the second in the competition.

In 2014, the singer decided to get involved in politics and became a people's deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, where she dealt with cultural issues. She has co-sponsored 7 bills. However, less than a year later, Ognevich withdrew her powers.

In 2014, Zlata's patriotic songs appeared, in 2015 she again began to participate in concert programs. The singer has recorded new hits, including a song performed with Eldar Gasimov, winner of the Eurovision-2011 competition.

In 2017, Ognevich performed in a concert program dedicated to the Victory. The concert was broadcast on the Inter TV channel. Later she toured. The program was called My Story. The concert in the capital of Ukraine was sold out.

Zlata's personal life

Zlata did not start a family, as she believes that she is not yet ready for this. However, she had a relationship with a member of the military-patriotic organizations of Ukraine. The acquaintance took place in Thailand in 2015.

In his free time, Ognevich travels, loves to visit the countries of the East.
