Sometimes it is necessary to mail a CD or even a small batch of such media. Let's say you are running an Internet business related to the sale of an information product. Sending such a fragile item as a CD has some difficulties, which, however, can be overcome.

Plastic bag, mail box
Instructions
Step 1
The easiest way to send a CD by mail is to put it in a suitable envelope, pay extra for the weight and send it to the addressee in this form. But with this method of sending, it is very likely that the disc will come to the recipient in a deformed form, because it is not known what mechanical influences the postal item may undergo along the entire route.
Step 2
There is a way to reduce the risk of damage to the CD in transit. To do this, pack the disc in a special plastic bag. It is very convenient to use a special backing or a “pimpled” envelope with air bubbles embedded in it to preserve the disc. This envelope or wrapping film can be purchased from the post office or office supply stores. These attachments are designed to help mitigate the impact on the disc during transport.
Step 3
The next method involves using a cardboard mailing box. Purchase such a box and pack the discs in protective cases in it. This shipping method is suitable for shipping a small batch of discs. If the box is too large for your mailing, place a seal (foam inserts, foam, etc.) into it to prevent the discs from dangling during transport. The disadvantage of the described method is that you may have to pay for excess weight that is not associated with useful content.
Step 4
To get rid of the disadvantages of the previous method, you can order the production of special cardboard boxes that exactly correspond to the dimensions of the CDs. This solution is acceptable if you are serious about your business and the sales volume is significant. The approximate cost of manufacturing such a box when ordering a medium-sized batch will not exceed 15 rubles.
