A temporary permit to drive vehicles is issued to the driver in the event of an administrative offense by the traffic police or a magistrate for only 2 months. And if this period is not enough for the trial, then the permit can be extended only in court.
Instructions
Step 1
Apply to the court before which your case is pending with an application for an extension of the permit,
Step 2
In the application, indicate: in the name of whom you are making it (name of the judge); on behalf of whom it was drawn up (your name, address, passport data and the number of the administrative case, if it is already in production). Indicate the reason for contacting and subscribe.
Step 3
Sometimes the secretary fills out the application form on his own based on the information you have or provided. Therefore, after filling out the application by the secretary, carefully check all the specified information (especially the number and series of the passport, and full name). If there are any inaccuracies in the text of the application, ask to reprint it, since blots and amendments in the text of this document (even certified ones) are not allowed.
Step 4
If your case has not yet passed the final registration, then, in accordance with Instruction No. 13 / 9-241 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation of 2007-21-12, you can in any case extend the permit. Therefore, if your application does not yet have an exact addressee, you will first have to apply to expedite the procedure for considering the case.
Step 5
The petition must be directed to the name of the judge who is considering the case. Enter your full name, passport and other information. Give the reason for the request.
Step 6
The petition must also be submitted to the clerk of the court (along with a passport, a copy of the offense report and a temporary authorization to be renewed). You can make photocopies of them in advance or trust the secretary in this matter.
Step 7
Your documents will be signed by the Justice of the Peace, who has the authority to renew the temporary permit (for another 1 month) while the case is pending. Obtain an updated temporary authorization from the court clerk.
