Step 1
According to the law, a corresponding certificate is issued to persons who performed tasks in a military environment (that is, in an armed conflict), as well as to persons who participated in counter-terrorist operations on the territory of Chechnya and the North Caucasus.
Step 2
If you meet the specified definition, write a statement requesting the issuance of a certificate and explain the reasons.
Step 3
Collect the necessary documents, including a copy of a certificate certifying that you were in an armed conflict zone, an extract from the commander's order, which indicates the dates of your participation in operations in the specified regions, a copy of the spreads of your passport with a photo and registration, an insurance certificate or a copy thereof, military ID with a mark on registration, the military ID must have a stamp on participation in hostilities, signed by the commander and certified by the seal, any other documents confirming your participation in hostilities / counterterrorism operations, passport-size photographs.
Step 4
After collecting the documents, contact the pension department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs at your place of residence.
Step 5
You will receive a certificate at your place of work.

Please note that the certificate can be obtained not only by persons directly involved in the resolution of the armed conflict, but also by civilians, for example, employees of the internal affairs bodies.
