According to Russian labor law, employees of any industry or organization have the right to form trade unions to protect their professional interests. And in order for such an organization to really be useful, you need to know how it is necessary to formalize its activities.
Instructions
Step 1
Find like-minded people to create a union. At least three people must become founders. Organize a team meeting with them to formalize the status of a public organization. No permission is required from either government agencies or the employer, but it is still advisable for the latter to inform about the creation of the organization.
Step 2
Develop a meeting program. In addition to the question of the actual establishment of the trade union, it is desirable to hold elections for the head and secretary of the organization, as well as adopt its charter. At the meeting itself, keep a record of those present and a minutes, which should indicate the main decisions made at the meeting, as well as the result of the vote.
Step 3
In the text of the charter of the trade union, describe the goals and objectives of the organization, the conditions of membership, the procedure for paying membership fees, the structure of the organization. It is also desirable in the same document to determine the frequency of meetings of the trade union committee.
Step 4
Apply for the state registration of the trade union. By law, it is voluntary, but an official union will have a better chance of successfully advocating for workers' rights. Contact the Federal Registration Service with the necessary documents: the charter of the trade union, the minutes of the general meeting, information about the founders. Fill out an application for registration of a trade union as a legal entity on the spot.
Step 5
After obtaining your registration certificate, open a union bank account as a legal entity. It will be used to administer membership fees. A maximum of five days after the start of the account, contact the tax authority at the place of registration of the trade union, after which your organization will be included in the register of taxpayers.
