Step 1
Formulate your claim. The application must clearly state all the violations that you are asking to be eliminated. If you are threatened with dismissal, not handed over an employment contract, or arbitrarily lengthening the working day, indicate all these offenses point by point. If you refer to additional documents, such as an employment contract or an explanatory note, take copies of them and attach them to the letter.
Step 2
Find out the address of the labor inspectorate and the name of the manager - it is to him that you are addressing the application. Check which of the inspectors is in charge of your area - you may need his phone number in the future.

Write a statement. In the upper right corner, indicate the addressee - the labor inspectorate of your city and the name of the manager. Please include your name and address. Summarize the problem in your statement. Write coherently and to the point, based on facts and not giving free rein to emotions. Be sure to note that you are asking to check the facts you have stated and take appropriate action to eliminate them. At the end of the letter, indicate which documents you are attaching to the application, put the date and sign.
Step 4
If the situation you are complaining about is business-wide - for example, vacation schedules or safety guidelines are violated - you can indicate that you are requesting an anonymous audit, without specifying who made the complaint. Your request will definitely be taken into account.
Step 5
Go to the post office. Seal the application and copies of documents in an envelope and send it by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt. This way you will know exactly when the inspector receives your application.
Step 6
The complaint will be considered within a month. During this time, an inspector will visit your employer for a check. Based on its results, instructions will be issued to eliminate deficiencies within the specified time frame. In the event of violations of the law, the labor inspectorate may, on its own behalf, file a complaint with the prosecutor's office.
Step 7
After sending the letter, do not throw away the receipt. It is possible that you will need it - for example, when going to court. In one and a half to two months, a letter from the labor inspectorate will come to your name, where it will be indicated what exactly was revealed after the check. If necessary, you can contact your inspector and clarify the details of the case.
