Indeed, a detailed address, including street, house and apartment, becomes important to the postal service only at the very last stage of delivery. That is, when, thanks to the correctly specified index, your message has already been delivered to the desired department. But what if you urgently need to provide contact details, and the post office code is unknown?

Step 1
Open the main page of the Russian Post website by clicking on the link indicated at the end of the article. In the column located on the left side of the window and containing a list of services, select the first item with the name "Search for post offices". Click on this link and open a page with a search form for query options.
Step 2
In the window that opens, to search by service area, enter the name of the region, settlement, street in the active fields, or select the desired option from the drop-down menu on the right. Write the house number, since a particular post office may not serve the entire street, but only part of it. Click the "find" button to activate the search in the Russian Post database.
Step 3
As a result of automatic selection, immediately below the table with the parameters entered for the search, a plate with the required post office index will be displayed, which is in charge of the address you specified. Here you can also find out the post office address and phone number.

You can print the information received by using the service's offer to create a printable version. To do this, click the printer icon located immediately below the search results table.
