Step 1

All modern subcultures can be divided into several areas, the source of which can be music, these are:

- punks, - rappers, - emo, - goths.

However, the basis for differentiation can be literature, animation, vocabulary, games. A subculture can single out a group of people who are fans of a certain style of clothing, for example, everyone knows the associations of freaks, nudists, dudes, and military men.

Step 2

The basis for the emergence of such a concept as a subculture can also be a variety of political views and an established worldview, remember hippies, informals, antifa, skinheads. The subculture can be based on a hobby, for example, a commitment to motorcycles or graffiti. Today it is customary to single out special, controversial subcultures, popularly called "hooligan", these are: gopniks, ultras, Lyuber.

Step 3

Each of the above movements not only regularly challenges the right to exist, but is also capable of identifying separate directions in its composition. So the goths, fans of post-punk music, distinguished by the presence of mystical symbols and dark shocking images, formed many stable movements, which are customary to include goth vamps, androgens, hippies, punks and cyber-goths.

Step 4

Do not confuse the peace-loving Goths and the aggressive Satanists, dangerous to society, who deny not only the entire church system, but who are also active nihilists, who do not recognize power and the law, and who promote sacrifice and violence against people.

Step 5

The anime subculture, which is based on pictures of "cinematic" life, has become especially popular among modern adolescents. Sometimes it is customary to call them Tolkienists; as a rule, young people from 12 to 15 years old with a weak psyche most susceptible to outside influence join them.

Step 6

If on the street you met a "miracle" dressed in a combination of black and pink colors, you should know that this is emo. Despite their shocking, emo, as a rule, are quiet and emotional, a kind of sad philosopher writers, whose work is based on sad moments of unrequited love.

But tight jeans, heavy boots with white laces and short bumper jackets, as if specially designed for street fights, are the hallmarks of the neo-fascist skinhead organization, whose average age varies from 16-18 years. Dedicating themselves to the ideology of struggle and the cult of a strong personality, they direct their energy to fight against many other subcultures, desperately hating hippies, ravers, people with a different skin color.
