Biography

Lyudmila Vladimirovna Radchenko was born in 1978 in Omsk, in an ordinary family. She grew up in Siberia, where there is a long winter and often few bright colors, so from childhood she dreamed that one day she would live in a warm country, where there is a lot of sun and lush nature.

In her youth, Lyudmila became interested in fashion, watched a lot of stylish magazines, selected different images and styles for herself, so that they would suit her. Therefore, one day she decided to try herself as a model. After some preparation, Lyudmila felt confident and began to take part in beauty contests.

In 1996 she managed to win the Omsk contest "Modern Image": she became the vice-miss of the podium. It was a rather prestigious beauty and fashion contest, in which she also won the Audience Award.

It so happened that soon she went to the Miss Russia contest from the city of Omsk. Having received this experience, she realized that she wanted to stay in the capital and try her hand at television as a presenter. And soon she succeeded: she worked on TV channels not only in Moscow, but also in St. Petersburg. In addition, she continued to work with several modeling agencies.

Model and TV presenter career

In 2010, a sharp turn took place in the fate of Lyudmila: she moved to a permanent place of residence in Italy and got a job as a TV presenter on the Paperissima TV channel. We can say that the dream of youth has come true.

In an interview, Lyudmila said that in Italy they still show a keen interest in Russian girls, and therefore they may be invited to work on television, even if you speak Italian with an accent. So Lyudmila herself in 2003 took part in the show "Spicy Tg", which was held on the Antenna 3 TV channel.

Gradually, she became famous in Italy, she was invited to various shows, and she also starred as a model for glossy magazines, including Fox magazine.

From year to year, Radchenko's fame grew, and she was increasingly invited to various fashionable and popular shows, including those that had the status of contests, and she often took pride of place at them. At one of these shows, director Fabio Tagliavia saw her and invited her to play in the television series Evidence of the Crime (2005- …). In the same year, Lyudmila received an invitation to take part in the filming of the full-length film "The Journey" from director Ettore Pasculli. Here she played the main role of the girl of Era Fenis. In 2006, the actress took part in the filming of the series "Inspector Coliandro" (2006- …). Two years later she was invited to a new project - the film "Light of Passion" (2008).

On this, Radchenko decided to end her career as an actress, then she had long thought of her own project related to painting. Her work was looked at by several familiar artists and a verdict was made: you need to paint and develop your talent in every possible way.

Several of Lyudmila's early works were selected for an exhibition in Milan, after which she realized that she wanted to seriously engage in painting. So she went to New York to attend an art school. There she mastered the technique of pop art and began to work in this manner.

Radchenko's paintings soon gained popularity and her paintings began to take over various galleries and exhibition halls in Milan.

In 2010, it was with her that a contract was signed for the image of a huge canvas: a giant drawing of a cow for the international exhibition "Cow Parade 2010". The popularity of the former model gradually grew, already as an artist and designer: she demonstrated her work at the Milan art triennial, she was helped to organize a solo exhibition at the Museum of Modern Art in Lucca.

And then Radchenko managed to go international: her work was shown at the Gemlucart exhibition in Monaco; in a New York gallery, she was given a whole section called Ludmilla - there was a food festival, and artists exhibited their work related to this topic; in London's Soho, her work has been featured in the Crown Fine Art gallery.

And in December 2010, Skira published the artist's first personal catalog titled Power Pop. Now Lyudmila has her own studio in Milan on Veranini Street, where she invites everyone who wants to get to know her work better.

Radchenko does not dwell on any one genre or direction in art - she listens to herself in everything and does what is interesting to her. So, once she was offered to become a designer of the famous brand of children's clothing Monnalisa. Someone from the brand saw Radchenko's scarves and leggings at an international exhibition in Florence, and immediately the idea was born: to transfer these prints to children's clothing for sports and leisure. This is how the Capsule Collection Jakioo by Lyudmila Radchenko was created. She was a tremendous success!

What Lyudmila Radchenko is doing now, she considers a great success, because very few people can find their vocation right away and devote their lives to it.

As for the family, here Lyudmila is also all right: in Italy she got married and gave birth to a daughter, Eva. She tries to give her complete freedom so that a child from childhood can understand what he wants to do in life.
