The future journalist and writer was born in Sverdlovsk on January 19, 1972. Anna's grandfather was a famous mineralogist; he participated in the founding of the Ural Geological Museum and the Mining Institute. My grandmother came from a noble family, she headed the department of foreign languages at the Mining Institute of Sverdlovsk. Anna's older brother became a writer and journalist.
Anna's parents worked at the Ural State University, where they taught foreign languages. Anna herself went there after school. Having received a solid education, the girl began to work in a regional newspaper, after which she got a job in the magazine "Stolnik". For some time, Matveeva also worked as a press secretary in a banking institution. But Anna Alexandrovna never stopped her studies in journalism.

The first works of Anna Alexandrovna were published in the mid-90s. In 1998, Anna got married. Her husband was Innokenty Sheremet, who is a journalist, TV presenter, producer, founder of the Ural Television Agency. The family has three sons. Currently, Anna and her family live in Yekaterinburg.
