The beginning of the way

He was born in the small Ural town of Alapaevsk in 1950. Mom taught a school physics course. With the birth, the boy received the surname Volkov. But after the sudden death of his father, a stepfather appeared in Viti's life - the famous actor Ivan Kosykh. Friendship was established between them, the child was drawn to him and tried to imitate. No one was surprised that, having matured, the adopted young man took the name of his stepfather.

On the set for the first time, Vitya was thirteen years old. It so happened that it was in their school that the assistant director selected young artists for the tape "Welcome, or No Unauthorized Entry". The boy immediately won over with his artistry and spontaneity. So Vitya got the leading role of Kostya Inochkin. A funny picture about the life of the pioneer camp, which was planned for a children's audience, has long become a classic of Soviet cinema.

Popular roles

After a brilliant debut, followed by a role in the drama "Father of a Soldier" (1964), where the boy played along with his adoptive father. A year later, the aspiring artist received a prize for his work in the film "They Call, Open the Door" (1965). The starring role of Viktor Kosykh is considered to be the image of Danka created by him in the film "The Elusive Avengers" (1966). It was he, together with his colleague, who suggested the film's title to the director. It turned out to be a real masterpiece about young and desperate guys who heroically defended the fate of a young country during the Civil War. The film was so fond of the audience that they certainly wanted to continue and always with the same cast. The director did not keep waiting long, and two years later the "elusive" told about their new adventures from the screens.

After leaving school, the young man faced a choice of profession. Having decided to become a border guard, he entered the Moscow School, but having received his education he was in no hurry to find a job. Acting talent and love of creativity prevailed, and Victor took the document to the Institute of Cinematography. In parallel with his studies, filming continued, but the main roles were no longer offered. Of particular note are the works: "Jung of the Northern Fleet" (1973) and "Cold Summer of the Fifty-third" (1987). Like many people in creative professions, Viktor Ivanovich had a difficult time in the 90s. He did not act at all, but in order to somehow earn money, he toured the country - he arranged creative evenings and shared his past achievements.

Personal life

Viktor Kosykh was married twice. They lived with their first wife for a long time, brought up two children. Ten years after the divorce, the actor met the charming Elena, almost the same age as his eldest daughter. The girl was able to melt the artist's heart and became his second wife. Soon, the fifty-year-old actor again became a father. The adorable little girl filled his life with new meaning.

The 2000s were marked by only a few small roles of the actor; he devoted most of his time to the theater. Several of his productions were performed at the Temp Theater in the capital.

Life, as if, constantly tested the famous artist. They say about such people: "I was born in a shirt." He repeatedly became a participant in an accident. The first accident happened in 1997. The actor lost control, three people were injured. In 2009, there was a new accident and hospitalization. Very soon, one after another, two more accidents occurred with the participation of the artist. But he died not on the road, but from cardiac arrest in his own apartment in 2011.
