Leandro Paredes is a talented Argentinean footballer and midfielder. Since the beginning of 2019, he has been playing for the French PSG, and before that he played for the St. Petersburg Zenit and the Italian Roma.
Performances for Boca Juniors
Leandro Paredes (date of birth - June 29, 1994) is a graduate of the famous Argentine team "Boca Juniors". And this footballer began his adult professional career in this particular team - on November 6, 2010, in a game against Argentinos Juniors, he came on as a substitute seven minutes before the end of the second half. But only two years later, on November 3, 2012, Parades managed to score his first goal in the Argentine championship. It happened in a meeting with the San Lorenzo club.
For three years in "Boka", the footballer was able to become the champion of Argentina, as well as the owner of the country's cup. However, in fact, he rarely entered the field - he has only 29 games on his account. At the same time, the fans of the Argentine club gave him the nickname "The Heir". They hoped that in the future Paredes could replace Juan Roman Riquelme, who was already a very old player at that time.
Paredes in Italian clubs
At some point, the young midfielder managed to attract the attention of European specialists. And the next stage of his biography turned out to be closely connected with Italy: first he got into the club from the city of Verona, Chievo (in fact, he played only one match for this club - in May 2014), and then to Roma. Paredes' first contract with the club from Rome was for 18 months.
The Argentinean scored his first goal for Roma to the goalkeeper of Cagliari in Matchday 22 of the 2014/15 season. And in general, in that season, he spent 13 games for the Roman club (that is, he did not always get into the base)
The following season (2015/2016) the Argentine midfielder played for the Tuscan club Empoli (he was loaned there), after which he returned to Roma again.
Football career after 2016
In 2017, Zenit St. Petersburg became the new Paredes club. For the first time, Paredes came out at the base of the blue-white-blue in the meeting against SKA-Khabarovsk. This match took place on July 16, 2017 as part of the first round of the Russian championship.
And the Argentinian scored the first goal for Zenit on August 13, 2017 - against Akhmat from Grozny. In general, during 2017 and 2018, Paredes showed himself worthily both in the Russian championship and in European competitions. In addition, during this period, Paredes played five times for the Argentine national team.
Not so long ago, Zenit sold Leandro to the French club Paris Saint-Germain (and this deal turned out to be financially very profitable for the St. Petersburg club). As part of PSG, Paredes entered the field for the first time on February 3, 2019.
Personal life
At the end of December 2017 (that is, during the period when he played for Zenit), Paredes married a girl named Camila Galante. Moreover, Camila was a football player's longtime love, before the wedding they met for seven years, and they already had two children.
Leandro invited Camila to become his wife in St. Petersburg. But the wedding celebration itself took place in Buenos Aires. It is interesting that among the guests at this celebration was another Zenit player - forward Sebastian Driussi.
