Biography
Vladimir Mikhailovich Vyatrovich was born on July 7, 1977 in Lvov. Childhood, youth and students passed in the same city. The guy was far from creativity, he loved sports and history.
In 1994, Vyatrovich entered the history department of Lviv University. Interest in politics arose even then. After receiving higher education, Vladimir defended his dissertation, receiving the degree of candidate of historical sciences in the direction of the revolution.
In 2002, his career took off. He headed the "Center for Research on the Liberation Movement" in Lvov. Quickly got up to speed. Redesigned the work of the organization based on personal historical beliefs.
In 2004, Vladimir Mikhailovich declared himself during the Orange Revolution. He raised hundreds of people to rallies. Was the coordinator of the black "Pora".
A year later, he began teaching at the Catholic Institute in Ukraine. Published the country's first training course for the "Liberation Movement". He made a great contribution to its development.
In the summer of 2005, Vyatrovich became a member of the staff of the Institute of Ukrainian Studies. With some representatives of the educational institution, he had a misunderstanding, due to a different approach to documentary facts.
After 2 years, Vladimir Mikhailovich already represented the Institute of National Memory.
In 2008, the opportunity arose to gain new experience. The historian began advising specialists on an international project on recognizing the Holodomor of 1932 as genocide.
In January 2008, Volodymyr was invited to the position of scientific advisor to the head of the Security Service of Ukraine. Having confirmed his personal competence after 6 months, he headed the branch archive of the service in Kiev.
Problems with law
In the fall of 2018, more than 300 Ukrainians, who were aggravating the political situation and showing aggression against the citizens of the fraternal state, fell under the sanctions imposed by Russia. Among them was Vyatrovich.
Exactly a year later, it became known about the initiation of a criminal case, where Vladimir Mikhailovich was a suspect. It was about his attempts to rehabilitate Nazism, refuting the facts indicated by the military tribunal. Vyatrovich also denied that the Ukrainian nationalists who fought in 1941 committed mass slaughter of civilians and belonged to the SS troops.
Euromaidan
Vladimir Vyatrovich recalled himself during the Euromaidan. He has repeatedly publicly incited Ukrainians against the current government. Was among the organizers of protest rallies, blocking of government buildings.
Vyatrovich stressed that the change of power in Ukraine would not stop him, he would continue his work.
Vladimir also developed political activity with the help of books. Some works prompted critics to conclude that Vyatrovich distorts historical facts, tries to whitewash the monstrous crimes of the OUN against Jews and Poles. The historian Grzhekoz Gritsuk even called Vyatrovich's work "far from a decent level of historiography."
His colleague Yuri Radchenko believes that Vladimir is only posing as a classical scientist, in reality he is a propagandist who distorts facts that are inconvenient for him.
In 2017, the head of the Polish Foreign Ministry called Vyatrovich a promoter of anti-humanitarian, anti-European values.
Despite criticism, Vladimir Vyatrovich continues to realize his political ambitions.
