Russian Olympic champion in rhythmic gymnastics in group exercises Lavrova Natalya Alexandrovna was born in 1984, on August 4. Her parents were engaged in medical work. The husband and wife moved to Penza before the birth of their daughter, when they were offered an interesting and promising job in one of the Penza clinics. The girl's father was very fond of sports and was engaged in boxing. This influenced the choice of additional classes for Natasha. She was very lively, energetic, loved to dance. The mother took the girl to the rhythmic gymnastics section, from which the gymnast's sports career began. Thanks to the pedagogical talent of the first coach Olga Stebneva, the girl fell in love with her chosen sport. This love and hard work led the athlete to the highest achievements.

When Natasha went to school, she was already a real athlete, since she went to training from the age of five. For secondary education, the parents chose school # 75 in the city of Penza. Here, in Penza, Natalya Lavrova received her higher education, graduated from the State Pedagogical University.

Victories and success

Natalia Lavrova's sports career developed rapidly. Already at the first training camp for her, which took place in 1999, she takes first place. These were group competitions, but the famous Tatyana Vasilyeva, who at that time was the leading coach of the Russian national team, immediately singled out the flexible and artistic Natasha.

Natalya Lavrova first became the champion of the Olympic Games at the age of 15.

The Russian team won over and over again. Natalya Lavrova for nine years was a participant in all competitions in which the national team of the Russian Federation took part. The 2000 Olympics in Australia and 2004 in Greece brought gold medals to Russian girls. The team had no equal in group exercises.
